Over ONE MILLION Americans are currently living with a brain tumor diagnoses and over 80% of primary brain tumors are benign. With benign brain tumors accounting for more than 72% of all brain tumor diagnoses. Each year, over 67,000 Americans will be diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. The most common primary non-malignant brain tumor, meningioma, has an average five-year survival of 88.2% after diagnosis.

How we help the community
Team A.N.A. 417 is a local non-profit focused on helping those who have been diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma as well as other benign brain tumors. While most benign brain tumors aren't considered life threatening, it does not mean they aren't life changing. Brain tumors can have lasting and life-altering physical, cognitive and psychological impacts on a patient’s life. Here at Team A.N.A. 417 we help patients and their families by providing financial assistance, support groups and specialized programs to help with recovery and life coping skills post surgery and/or radiation.
